Default Yet Another "Is My Timing Whack?" Thread

I switched from AEM to Hydra several months ago, and in the process changed some other stuff about my build such that I decided to just start over again with the base map that FM sent over. We did some basic tuning of timing in the WOT regime, which bumped it a few degrees, but we had such bad MAP noise that we stopped bothering when we started getting closer to MBT.

In any event, I've been looking more closely at the map and comparing to other people's maps today, and noticed that no one on the planet seems to be running the like negative 5 degrees of timing that the FM base map has in the low-RPM high-boost regions. I'm getting a lot of bucking coming out of a stop and noticing my tach going somewhat nuts, and when I logged it, noticed that I was doing things like hitting 130 kPa at 1000 RPMs (yay supercharger), which was a drop from 15 degrees to -4 degrees over a 40 kPa range. So, I set out to figure out what the right answer is. Their stock map also had 50 degrees of advance through most of the map from 30-80 kPa, > 3000 RPMs, which seems like way too much.

So, taking all that into account, I smoothed the map out a bit and brought up the corners to something slightly more sane, and dropped the 50 down to cap it at 40, and here's where I am now:

For reference, I'm getting up to 240kPa in the high end (which is why I'm stopping the map at 250kPa). Also, this is currently on 92 octane. I'll be doing E85 at some point, but not yet. Dialing in pump gas first.

So, any thoughts? Is this totally crazy for a variety of reasons?
