JDM BP5A eng in '97 USDM car
Hey guys, my friend is selling me a JDM BP5A engine from a Japanese '98 I believe, and it's in great condition. I'm running MegaSquirtPNP2 on my turbo 1997 1.8. My engine is locked up and I don't want to rebuild it, I want to bust a Greg Peters and build an engine outside of the car before dropping it in.
The JDM ECU says BP5A,
My USDM ECU says BP3A. However, I am running MSPNP2 anyway.
I just need to know If I can swap in the JDM engine and utilize my current USDM engine harness with it, going into my MegaSquirt.
