Default LC-1 and E-8 after long drives

I've had my LC-1 and Xd-16 in for about a month, and have had no problem until now. I went on a long road trip and after about an hour and a half or two the XD-16 starts flashing E-8. I've got the extended O2 bung, its installed a few inches before the cat. My cruise AFR's are 14.7-15.0.. could this thing really be overheating? I've done a search, and I've read anything from the heat sink to grounds causing the issue.

Perhaps I should re-calibrate and see if it happens again?

Herp derp. There's a thread on this already. Which firmware are you running on the lc1?

Rollback your firmware to v1.00a if it is v1.10. When I was getting e8s it started like you described and then gradually appeared on shorter and shorter trips until it would flash e8 on startup. Since you have the extended bung it is certainly not overheating.

Thanks for the help so far guys.

I rolled back the firmware and did the free air and heater calibration, and while the output of the LC-1 seems much smoother the issue is still occurring. After a power reset everything will be fine for another 30 minutes or so, and then it happens again. Grounds are all at the ECU ground in front of the IM, I'm quite confident the installation was done properly. Any Ideas? should I just give innovate a call?

Thanks
