My LC-1 is giving an Error 2 code instead of working properly. It worked before, but then I put the stock ECU back in for a few days, and replaced the clutch. When replacing the clutch I put a dent in the side of the sensor, and I think that is probably my problem, but I'd like a second opinion. Now megasquirt is back in the car and I have no O2 reading.
So, do I just buy a new sensor and tune away, or could it be something else?

Yup. "Heater open" means that the heater circuit isn't flowing any current, from which it deduces that an "open circuit" condition exists. Usually, this is caused by the heater element "burning out" in the same way that a light bulb filament does, but I can certainly see physical damage doing essentially the same thing.
Replace sensor, recalibrate, profit.
