I am looking for a BPR5 18 881A ECU for a '96 1.8 NA any help would be appreciated.

A US ECU won't work directly with a EU '96 due to the immobilizer system present on the 96+.

Not even if it is exactly the same model? I know Mazda constantly kept changing ECU's but does that mean the BPR5... was not used in the US?
