Running a link ecu on a 3 plug 1.8 na?

Default Running a link ecu on a 3 plug 1.8 na?

I have a 3 plug 1.8 na miata and from what I've seen they only sell a 2 plug for the na and a 3 plug for the nb. If I wanted to run a link would I just have to run an NB ecu and repin my harness? I wasn't able to find much information about people running link ecus in miatas online.

I’ve got one, and I’ve wired a half dozen others. The 3rd plug is mostly OBD2 stuff you wouldn’t need. Compare your ECU’s pinout to link's pinout, and see what you need to move, I don’t think it’s a lot.

ah okay that doesnt sound too bad. thanks for the info. I'm on an ms3 basic right now but was just looking at my options if I ever wanted to upgrade down the line.
