Looks like you're off to a solid start. What year is the car? Do you have any plans for FI in the future or keeping it NA?

If you have E85 in your area you can pick up some decent power from it. Several years ago 949 Racing (Emilio) shared some really good information on E85 tuning that was very helpful. It's worth some research as you continue to tinker with the car and look for more power.

I’ve got a 2001 NB2. Stock everything right now, but making the steps to proper FI and documenting for all to enjoy. Next step is getting the tune nice and clean, larger injectors, Skunk2 intake manifold to bypass the garbage VTCS nonsense, then working into FI.

Hard to find E85 in my area, but at least we have good 93 octane to work with. Hoping that timing advance and VVT optimization gets me a decent baseline

Working on ignition timing. Still some VVT tweaks needed I would guess as well

Getting the tune closer. Definitely noticed the extra top end power. VE and VVT still need some work.

Been messing with VVT more, defnitely helps lift that torque band!
2 passes to confirm the changes made that much of a difference!

Making some progress toward turbo time! Added FlowForce 640cc's and a squaretop intake. Squaretop is definitely worth it, even N/A I gained about 4 ft-lbs of torque and a couple HP. Tuning these EV14 type injectors is so much easier than the stock ones IMO.

That should be ~160 horses at the crank, not bad! Very smooth graph for just "1" smoothing. You'll have a good time, when you boost that thing

The time is meow.....The Kraken is coming! Got it before the price hike coming by the end of the month (April 2024 will have a ~12% increase!). Top mount T25 kit with full 3" exhaust. Going to run a ball bearing GT2860 Churbo to break in the system and new Centerforce Clutch. I'll post an unboxing when it arrives and new virtual dyno when the clutch is ready for WOT.

Dope! I just ordered their 3" downpipe back exhaust. Hoping to get that in a week or so.

I've enjoyed following this project. It makes me want to get better at tuning my spark table.
