Default Tach signal for racecapture pro (sanity check)

Hey guys I just wanted to make sure I'm going to the right source for a tach signal to feed my race capture. I'm believe that I am pulling it from the diagnostic box on the drivers side of the car. I have a '91 1.6, the link below is where I'm getting my info.

A basic DMM can be used to identify a tach signal wire reliably. Switch the meter to AC voltage. Put one lead on chassis ground and the other lead on the tach wire. You will see a reading around 0.5-1 volt at idle and that measurement will increase with engine rpm.
