Default Uninstalling sketchy AEM water/Meth injection kit.

Hi everybody Im new to the miata life and somewhat new to the "Tuning my own Car" Scene
Ive owned Naturally aspirated Cars my Entire life
Specifically Mr2'
Civic si' Etc Etc.

I recently purchased a 1999 miata 1.8 litre with a bunch of upgrades.
The car itself is super clean and it has everything i need to make 300+Hp

(Forged pistons, Connecting rods, Megasquirt ecu, Td05 Greddy turbo, Stage 2 intercooler, Duezctvitz Fuel injectors or whatever, Ignition system upgrades, Skunk2 Intake manifold and throttle body which is brand new, And an old sketchy looking AEM water/ Meth kit)

I seen the car in person and it idles and starts as should, I didn't drive the car because he said its been in storage since 2011 and put a new battery in it.
I want to delete The Meth injection kit because im afraid of The old pump that is installed could go bad at anytime. he said he did run the car with it tuned for the water/Meth injection kit.

BASICALLY... I want to know how i would remap those settings for removing the Meth injection kit completely. I know its probably an AFR setting but im unsure if there is anything else i must do to have reliable power without The kit installed.

i bought the car for a fun cheap to run convertible and not a track or quarter mile car.

Like i said im new to the miata scene and more importantly the tuning scene. I would appreciate any and all responses and hopefully i can solve this issue safely.

Thanks Team 😙🖤

Love From Upstate NY

With my experience level (Novice) you think that would be the best option? I was kind of hoping to do it myself so i can learn the ropes of basic tuning..

Or do you think im just getting into something more difficult in the tuning spectrum?

Thanks again

Judging by your level of knowledge, it would be years before you would be competent enough around an engine/ecu/modified turbocharged car to even touch anything, let alone re-tune the car.
