Default VVT setup/Composite log sanity check

Hi again folks, I'm hoping someone here can take a quick peek at this and let me know if they spot anything "off". Now that the car is driving with the VVT swap I've started working on getting VVT to actually work. I noticed that my min range is 296 degrees which would usually indicate that my timing belt is off by a tooth, but I pulled the covers and everything looks correct to me.

verified cam timing

verified crank timing

I ran a composite log and I noticed that my signals look inverse to the other logs I have seen posted here, on both crank and cam. If I switch "Flip Polarity On High-Res Tach / Cam" to "Inverted" my VVT angle at 0 duty cycle becomes 274 (much closer to the expected value) and the cam signal triggers switch to the high side like I've seen in other logs.

The below screenshot is my engine with Flip Polarity On High-Res Tach / Cam set to normal, this is when base VVT indicates 296 deg

I'm the king of overthinking stupid **** so feel free to tell me that's the case. Currently the car seems to run and drive just fine with everything tuned around the 296 deg cam timing, but I thought that the inverted composite logs were strange and wanted to get a second opinion.

my "upside down" log

A random "normal" log

And finally my spark settings:
