Default Recommend a multi gauge to me please

Hello good morning,
I've been wiring gauges in and I'm thinking of getting a multi gauge but has to be compatible with at least megasquirt 2 (ecu going in soon). Can anyone recommend me one and a brief explanation of the features? It'd be nice to be able to monitor important information which I'm still learning on what that is. As of now I have a wideband and a boost gauge in the center vents but I'd like to be able to monitor oil temp/ pressure and water temp and maybe water pressure.

I desire more safety features on a device.
sorry this post is kind of messy but yeah I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thank you.
ps. Car in mind is supercharged with brp mp62 and is a 2000 currently running ancient piggybacks but soon to be squirted.

You’d want a CAN gauge to monitor all that. It’ll use sensors already wired to the ecu to show you MAT, ECT, etc. IMO you should always be monitoring and logging fuel and oil pressure on modified cars, so get some quality ~0-150psi sensors to plumb and wire.

supposedly this one works with MS2:

Right I've been looking at that one too. Wish id known about it before I bought separate wideband and boost gauges. One thing that is uncertain to me is if that gauge does work with ms2 but it appears so. I see that you can monitor oil temp, pressure , etc but that says it's an ms3 feature. I think after I get the ms2 situated and learn more I will upgrade to the ms3 for the CAN features especially the safety features.

CANchecked is another option that mounts inside the gauge cluster. Similar price, but doesn't have the LED ring.

If I had to guess the reason oil pressure/temp is MS3 only is because the MS3 can do things with those inputs, whereas the MS2 its just a generic sensor input used for datalogging. If so the page says the you get generic sensor 1 and 2 data on the perfect tuning gauge, so you could use those for oil pressure and temp in the meantime if you have 2 spare analog inputs left on your MS2.

That’s what the perfect tuning gauge did to me. I could select generic sensors, although I couldn’t name them. So I had to know S01 was oil, S02 was fuel pressure.

if I had to pick again, I’d get one without the LED ring, they sorta made sense, but weren’t programmable, I ignored them.

I don't know if I'm reading your post wrong, but the LED ring on the PT gauge is programmable... I've got mine set up for a couple of different alarms.

Ah ok, maybe I didn’t read into it enough. They seemed to just go up/down with whatever they were displaying.

I have the Canchecked gauge. Works quite well but the outputs are limited to exactly what is listed on their site. Its a shame as I was hoping it would read full can for each of the main after market ecus, but it does not, and so doesn't do things I wanted like target afr beside actual, target boost beside actual.

It does do the items you have listed as wants in the initial post.
