I just did a build that did 2 rod bearings 30km in, pulled it down and linished the crank today.
All bearings were a tiny bit scuffed and all crank machining measurements were well within spec, it just had low oil pressure, probably didnt prime properly or had air in the system. Getting a new set of bearings and an oil pressure guage and all will be fixed. Ah, what can you do hey? Dann |

If you aren't planning on more than 200-250hp, the stock engine can handle that all day with a proper tune. |

I suppose some RTV could have gotten lodged in the crank ceasing oil flow to a bearing, but other than that I have no idea. I had great oil pressure, 30 at idle, 60+ when on it. Oh wells. Time to find some more money to throw at my car. |
