Default 1997 Engine into 1999 Swap advice/help

I recently purchased a supercharged 1999 miata with a thrown rod for a great price but now I'm on to swapping out the engine. I found a running 1997 1.8 that I'm going to swap in but I would like some advice on the swap. I am also actively researching as well. I will go through the head on mine after the swap and look at the cam journals and swap that at a later date.

What sensors need to be swapped over
Are there any items you would replace while the engine and trans are out (motor mounts will be replaced)
I need to research the JRSC 45 going onto a 1997 head and if mounting modification is required still.

Any general swap knowledge or advice would help me out a lot. Thanks

Aaron

Oooo. I get to try one you lucky devil. Just put the head on the '97 block and put it in. Use all the sensors on the '99. ...And keep on reading.

Yeah, just put the 99 head on the 97 block, and swap the crank, knock, and water temp sensors.
