+1mm / +2mm Inconel Exhaust valves and oil squirter questions
I swear you guys overthink this **** sometimes. From personal experience, and all that entails...
- Avoid Supertech. They fail. I personally use SI. I've got like 60 or 70K on a motor thats been through two cars, no failures, running SUBs and big cams, 8k RPM on the regular. Go with nice springs since you are boosting. I get away with stockers because of SUBs
- Oil squirters - Are you using stock pistons? then keep them, they were designed for squirters. Forged pistons? Delete them. Many don't accomodate them anyway. You'll have reduced oil consumption
- Valve guides - Get them if they are loose, if not don't fix whats broke

I spoke with SI 2 weeks ago while researching the valve issues in more detail. SI does not have any inventory for this application and it did not sound like they would in the future. The ST valves are made in china or argentina.
