Default This almost ended badly... Mobil 1 m1-110a

Did the yearly oil change on the miata today. Grand total of 1200 miles last year...
Mobil1 m1-110a
IDK what the string is, but it's stretchy and not suppose to be there... . Almost like one of the clear rubber bands used to hold stuff in packages.

I've seen o rings / rubber have a small protective piece of plastic on it before.
