ATI Damper Trigger Orientation
 

Is somebody able to provide a picture of how their 4 tooth trigger wheel is orientated on their ATI Damper? My mechanical timing is correct so i'm left to assume I put the trigger wheel on backwards/wrong orientation resulting in my no-start backfire while cranking issue.

When the trigger is properly installed, there should be one tooth under or almost under the sensor when cylinder #1 is at TDC.

Thank you Rev, I will check out the tooth position at TDC next time I work on the car.

I would like to follow up, thank you again Rev. A quick check at TDC showed that the tooth was no where close to lined up. I'm off to remove the damper to get the plate clocked correctly.

Wasn't there a dud batch of these, with TDC misaligned?
