Bringing back this thread as I finally got the time to disassemble the motor.
Low and behold, cylinder 1's rod is severely bent (maybe others too, hard to know for sure).

I noted a bit of wear where the crank counterweight rubbed a bit on the backside of the piston.
I am unsure if that makes the crank/pistons unusable or that is not a big deal.
I am planning on adding Manley Forged Rods on this block or another block.

I feel like I would be more worried about the oil pump than the scuffed up crank and piston.
