So I bought an extra block and sadly when it was sent it did not come with main caps-seller said he doesnt have them. I suppose this is my fault for assuming that a block would come with main caps.
I feel stupid asking but my question is this-Can I use the main caps from another block or are they match drilled for particular set of main caps/block combo?(I should say the block in question is an MSM block.
I suppose I could buy billet caps but I don't feel I need them and $550 plus machining costs just seems like throwing good money after bad as I am not planning on a mega horsepower build.

I've always been under the impression that you need to line-bore the main caps if you mis-match them between blocks. The bolt holes will most likely match up, but there will be small differences between the bearing surfaces, which would likely lead to motor death rather quickly.
