Question Boost for overbore engines +2mm over stock ?

Bit of a Noob question,

please pardon my ignorance. I read in an engine idea thread that engines that use the overbore 85.5mm super tech piston are suited to nil or low boost due to cyl wall thickness.

May I ask when the poster who I believe is a gentleman named Emilo stated low boost what does that mean?

Is is less than 14 psi or lower than 10psi.

Thank you all in advance if this question has been answered before could you please point me to the thread as I was unable to find it.

Cheers,

Clint

Why not go 84 or 84,5mm and never worry about wall thickness...

Some people run 20psi with 85mm, but I don't think you would notice any difference with 84 or 84,5mm. There are 100 things more important in a setup

Thank you = )

The reason for my asking is I have an engine which is built with overbore 85.5mm forged pistons. forged rods, machined and balanced with +1mm valves both inlet and exhaust and cams.

I wanted to ask more from the point if I do decide to boost later it is an option. if it isn't then I understand.

I would think that's pushing it a bit for a high boost. My builder was nervous about a 1.5mm overbore and 20psi.
