Slow spooling? The 2854 spools fast as fuck. Although the turbine is larger it still has a small compressor, and the difference between journal and BB isnt really that big with a small turbo like that.

another thing, the chinachargers don't self implode. i am tracking a crx next week that has a 5yr. old china turbo on it. also, have friends with same, 3-4+ years old and thousands of miles so it's not a fluke.
but why eat chopped when you have ny strip? parts hater

I haven't seen any dynos/logs that show the begi provided 2854 to spool fast as fuck.

I dont have any logs, but I drove a 2854 for over a year. Ive never driven a miata with a 2560 but I know with the 2854 the boost threshold was lower than I would ever need it to be and response was instant.

Try both. It is very simple to swap out a turbo on that setup.
