Default Found a Honda manifold.....

Hey guys, I found the following manifold on craigslist and bought it for $20..... that being said do you think it would be worth throwing a B6 flange on it and running it? It is for a D16, has a pretty good size plenum and velocity stacks. Im sure its an Ebay special but the design looks a lot like what BEGi sells which is why i took a chance on it. Before anyone asks, the runners are only 1mm off so it would be easy to line them up, and It will be used on a high boost/high horsepower car. If the general consensus is that it looks to be a worth wile project, im going to hack up the plenum to smooth out the velocity stacks (where there attached is a ledge which is hard to photograph) and weld on a new/old flange after sandblasting to remove that shitastic finish.
Thanks,
Mike

It appears to be similar to this manifold.

My thoughts exactly, I'll start cutting into it tomorrow and get a better look at it.

Anyone else notice how strikingly similar this looks to the BeGi 1.6 manifold?

LOL rut-rohh

To be honest though, most manifolds are knockoffs of other designs to the point that there are only a handful properly designed exclusive setups out there, all of which are 1k+

I mean seriously... it's so blatant it's not even funny. And people pay $700 for that hackery. Awesome. You can even tell just looking at it exactly what's done to it for Miata use.

But hey, at least now i know where to go to get a Begi manifold for my buddy's 93 that's getting my old built motor that i'll be working on. Much win.
