Question Dyno queens?

I'm only starting this because I've heard local speculation of a guy that might try to set the record for highest whp in a miata. Just curious what the actual number was and if anyone might try to top it on here. I know "eliminator" made 6xx but thats all I can really find. Keep in mind I know this is basically a dick measuring contest but it's still cool to see and know what these things can theoretically do on a dyno. Let's keep this civil.

Yea...still looking for an actual "WIDE" ratio gear set. Close ratio was no good to me.

CEO maybe? EDIT: Not really a dyno queen. He races this thing a lot and actually loses.

Details on your local fellas miata?

I wonder if his turbo is bigger than mine. Also what cams.

I hope to put down some dyno queen mumbers soon myself.

Wow....huge numbers

Edit: So I got to actually looking at the dyno, and it says 616.8 not 816.8 like the page advertises. What's up with that?

Based on that snail you've got, it looks like you have a shot a beating this 8, I mean 6xx hp, 8 sec miata...

We've had this type of thread before, a dyno plot as well as a couple vids were posted. Dig around.

If you're talking about my buddy, he was somewhere close to 500 on the 30r and e85.
He's since got rid of it and is currently building one to try and hit 6-700.
I'll ask him if he can post up pics, but doubt it since he's real hush hush about it. Last one no one even knew what it had til after he's hustled like 10 people for money races
