Hey all..so I'm changing the title of this thread b/c I dont think too many people have encountered what I've encountered. So I'm asking a different question... It's likely that I've damaged the outer cylinder wall of my #4 piston when trying remove the rear freeze plug. So if the outer cylinder damage is sufficient to warrant concern, I will be looking at sleeving the cylinders. Are there downsides (other than cost) to sleeving the cylinder?
Here is where I suspect the damage is.. you can see I tried to use a carbide grinding bit and likely have no space behind it.
Let me know your thoughts about cylinder sleeves.
