Default Surprise! Coolant in the bellhousing

Hey guys,

Quick question, what is the size of the freeze plug in the back of the block? Bought a 30mm freeze plug (same as the old one) and it slides right in without any interference? I don't think that's right?

It's supposed to be a tight fit requiring being tapped in gently with a mallet.

Did you measure the hole and the new plug with calipers?

Measured the new plug and it was slightly undersized ~29.5-29.7mm. The hole ran around ~30.0 -30.3mm. Ordered a 30.5mm. Hopefully, that works.
