Default Escort GT Flywheel?

Does anyone know if an escort gt flywheel is the same as a 1.8L miata flywheel? I have a new clutch for a 95' miata I want to install on my 91' and the EGT flywheel was offered to me.

Same exact thing....I actually used a miata clutch/flywheel on my old egt.

Awesome. I found different part numbers for them but all of the specs (dimensions, teeth, weight) were the same.

I have a protege DX and 1.8 Miata flywheels and they're different. I would imagine the Escort GT is the same as the Protege DX. The entire assembly might work, but I wouldn't mix the pp/disc with the other flywheel.

You can mix and match away...the only thing thats not interchangeable is the throwout bearing. I wish I still had the photos I took to prove this to the egt guys since this was a popular misconception with them. I measured and weighed them both and the only difference I could find was it looked like the miata one (was from a '99 or '00) had been cut before or started out with a little less meat on it...All other dimensions were identical. Also, im actually using the egt's old flywheel on my miata now.
