Why, did I miss something? The mounts arrived this afternoon btw, seem fine to me. I just went with the cheaper vendor.

If they are so bad, why do they have their own forum section?

Edit- did some googling, apparently lots of bad experiences. Wish I had known but my order turned out fine.

Hmmm, finally got to go for a decent length drive with the mounts in.

Less NVH at every RPM than I expected based on all the horror stories. It is a noticeable change, but barely. Not jarring or unpleasant, just there. At idle, you can hear stuff rattling in the glovebox and the effects are a bit more notable. Cruising along it's pretty much invisible. Overall the car just sounds and feels a little more badass, but it's totally tolerable I think, even for a long commute.

Shifting feels more solid. Reminds me of how the shifter felt when bone stock. You don't have to be super slow and careful between gears now.
Throttle response seems quicker and neither accelerating nor lifting results in noticeable flopping of the engine before you get an effect at the rear wheels.

For me at least, this was a good trade.
