On a completely unrelated topic how would you get your hands on a mazdaspeed IM, you know the ones that I believe to have ITB's? I honestly can't remember

 

Going JDM 01+ vvt parts, I would want the intake and the header.

 

The place I have been working for the past 3 months keeps giving me the run around on them. They are saying they have some one day and none the next. Supposedly they have one now, but only time will tell. If I can start getting them in I will sell them at whatever my cost is just to get these things out there.

If you can get them, then I would be down for one.

 

I had a company claiming they were trying to get them new from Japan, claimed that they were on backorder for ???? amount of time. They gave up. I said I would do a back-to-back dyno to see how well it would work on a FI Miata. Too bad it never happened. Maybe one day I'll get my hands on one.

 

They have been back ordered from Mazda for 1.5 years.

 

Which makes you wonder...how the hell did Corksport get them? There was no demand 1.5yrs ago for them and it wasn't being discussed anywhere.

CS is currently out of them and are expecting another shipment towards the end of January. Guess there's a few people on the waiting list already and they aren't sure how many will be in this next shipment.

 

The guy I am working with is dragging his feet. The guy in Japan does not speak english and his sister here does not understand car parts lingo. I will update when I get more info.

my bad. i gave up looking to see if it was posted in that thread after 90% of the pictures were the icon.

 

I figured what the hell and put my name in the hat at Corksport around last Christmas. I honestly didn't expect to get one, but it seemed worth filling out the order form on the off chance.

I got an email about a week ago. Corksport is expecting their shipment (which was due at the end of January) sometime at the end of July. They say "Mazda is backordered until then."

Alas.

 

I wonder if someone at Mazda is seeing orders or inquiries for these and is wondering "WTF?".
