Default fi vvt engine compression on stock pistons

Hi i am building a modest forged Fi vvt engine to swap into a na6 i wasn't going to put in new aftermarket pistons as it puts £600 on the build and I have read stock pistons are good for 350hp but I am concerned about the high compression of the vvt when I add a turbo.
will I run into problems later.
any advice would be welcome
