At which point, fuck a BP.

Which reminds me, why are you guys using BPs in your SSM cars? Just because it's the easy button?

Yes, because its easy. I'm thinking about a Z6-VE for the next build maybe, to drop 50ish pounds off the nose and off my minimum weight. If I had a mill with a largish working area in my garage it would open up options a lot more.

I feel like it's rotary time. The fastest SSM cars run rotaries. Why not you?

A lighter FD! What could possibly go wrong?

Because then I'd have to ballast the shit out of the car in order to weigh the same as the rotary guys. Actually I'd get to weigh exactly 200 pounds less because of the smaller tires. And it would probably involve trying to get the rotary to fit inside the trans tunnel.

Use 13B instead of 20B. Weigh less, still use 275s.

Only one is using the 20b. Most of them are on 13bs. I really dont want to add 400 pounds of ballast to my current weight.
