Default Forged Rods have changed?

I was about to post a set of Eagle Rods I have for sale, I was looking at pics from other vendors/ebay/etc to see what they sell for, and noticed the design has changed from the ones I have.

These are the rods I have:

But all the current eagle rods I found F/S online are a different part number, and have a smaller/weaker looking beam design, much more narrow than the ones I have.

The new ones have a different part number, 5233. Mine are P/N 5230. Kind of surprising, it look like the new ones are actually weaker than the old ones! I don't know if that was common knowledge, but something I just noticed and thought I'd share.

They're probably still totally fine for 90% of miata builds that barely ever crest 300hp.
