Default Help replacing the CAS 'plug'.

When I installed the '99 VICs head on my 2L block I also installed a Mk1 CAS in the back of the exhaust cam, modified to make the signal TEC friendly. I have now replaced the Mk1 CAS with another method of generating that signal so I am re-installing the 'plug' in place of the CAS. Now there is a bar that mounts with 1 bolt (intake side of CAS) across the back of the plug and I can not remember if that is all there is to it. The bar does not actually touch the plug (although I assume it is there to stop it blowing out) and there is a hole in the middle of it. Is there another fixing back there or do I have it as it should be?

A hole in the middle?

It should be a round cup-shaped disk with an O-ring around the outside from what I remember. I've got mine somewhere... i'm in the same boat some day. MK1 CAS hanging off my 01 motor.

Yea its just a big o-ringed cap with the bar across it. Shouldn't be a hole in it though.

Thanks guys. The hole is in the middle of the bar - I wondered if there should be a bolt (or the like) there to sit against the plug.
