It's not for performance it just looks nice. I got it for free from a friend for doing an alignment on his car.

Been doing Miatas since 2001 with no reroute. I don't track the car the coolant temps never get over 98C even pushing the car on backroads at the Gap, etc.

Ebay interheater, with a 2554r at around 83F ambient. Looking at a Precision 12800. If I change the setup and improve temps I'll post again.

Sorry for the shitty picture of the car just snapped a quick picture when I was fitting it. It's a Garrett 475hp core and overall dimensions are 34x6.5x3. I would say this is about he longest intercooler you can fit with both ps and ac and a oem crash bar as well.

Took a datalog and IAT went from peaking at 132F with the vibrant to 101F with the Garrett. This is at 22psi on a gtx2860r gen2. So it dropped roughly 30F, I think that's pretty good. I also took a couple pictures of the vibrant core vs the Garrett and there is no comparison. The Garrett has so many turbulators and it's tig welded on the inside of the core just looks awesome.
