Jackson Racing Air/Water Inter-Cooler System

Time to IC my Mk2. I've got a JR SC since 2006, running great but can't squeeze more power without IC first.

I'd like to know some opinion or feedback on the Jackson Racing Air/Water Inter-cooler system (Moss sells it...)
It looks a good alternative to the classic TDR A/A intercooler (or any similar DIY solution), without adding extra tubing thus a DTB to cope with it.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

I'd say it's way too much money for what it is. An Air to Air is cheaper, has less points of failure, and works.

I got one of those used a while ago. The coolest intake temps I ever saw with it was in the 140s. It also heatsoked bad on trackdays. Sold it then did a diy a/a ic and now the hottest i see is 20 above ambient. The a/a was cheaper as well. Dont waste your time with this.

Tnx. I take note.

I'm just considering all possible paths at the moment, your feedback is valuable.
