Jackson Racing Air/Water Inter-Cooler System
Time to IC my Mk2. I've got a JR SC since 2006, running great but can't squeeze more power without IC first.
I'd like to know some opinion or feedback on the Jackson Racing Air/Water Inter-cooler system (Moss sells it...) It looks a good alternative to the classic TDR A/A intercooler (or any similar DIY solution), without adding extra tubing thus a DTB to cope with it. Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Cheers. http://www.moss-europe.co.uk/Graphic...ge/999-651.jpg |

I'd say it's way too much money for what it is. An Air to Air is cheaper, has less points of failure, and works.

I got one of those used a while ago. The coolest intake temps I ever saw with it was in the 140s. It also heatsoked bad on trackdays. Sold it then did a diy a/a ic and now the hottest i see is 20 above ambient. The a/a was cheaper as well. Dont waste your time with this.

Tnx. I take note.
I'm just considering all possible paths at the moment, your feedback is valuable. |
