Anyone grabbing a kit for a RHD miata yet? or maybe a direct over head shot so I can guage somethings.

Keep up the good work!

Yes, we will eventually be developing a RHD kit. As soon as we can get a RHD car to Chicago. We've gotten a ton of inquiries about it in the last year. So it will eventually happen.

Also, here is a little Mid Ohio track footage. Now we just need to get the rest of the chassis up to par so it can be really fast.

K24 Miata Mid Ohio testing - 217whp street car - YouTube

Nice work. it looks like a fun car to drive.

Decisions decisions... 949 racing cnc head turbo upgrade, or k24 swap NA build?

Has anyone overlaid these two motors on a dyno plot to compare the power band. I'm interested in your typical 2560 230 whp set up vs an bolt on k20 or k24.

you will get a bit more mid range from the turbo, but you will save weight with the k24 and have much better engine to build on in the future

Big props for becoming a vendor.

Propz, yo. Looking amazing on the track. I want a simple NA with a plain ole k24 from a TSX. You could drive it across the country without issue, dead reliable.

Awesome swap

looks like you guys are making serious head way, i saw the harness are ready and the adapter plates are out to plating, V8roadsters said the sub frames are being powder coated.

im waiting for my swap kit to make these look better

I really wish those weren't so bloody expensive.

So what's more impressive?

The fact that these guys developed a swap kit to put a Honda motor in a Mazda chassis, made actual parts, tested the crap out of the initial swap car, started a company, and put together a group buy?

Or the fact they did all of that in 1/3 the time that Trackspeed has been "developing" a turbo kit?

Trackspeed has switched over development of the BP series kit to the K series for better performance. Will be releasing very soon!

KMiata 06-22-2014 10:56 PM

Thanks guys, its good to be more and more a part of the Miata community, as the last 10 years I've mainly just played with Hondas.

Some other good news - if all goes well this week, we will have another prototype header to show off.... and its going to be beautiful. Details soon.

You should install a/c, lol.

Seriously. That's the biggest thing keeping turbos in the running.

A/C is next on our list. We need to design a bracket for the compressor to clear the steering rack. Then its just a matter of some custom lines and wiring. We'll probably develop it this fall/winter. But I assure you it is coming.
