Leaning out at 6000k rpms help please
I think you guys may be able to point me in the right direction. I have a 2001 miata with a fm voodoo 2 kit gt2560r with the voodoo piggy back and timing wheel. im running around 8psi creeping up to 9.5 with a full 2.5 exhaust and 320cc supra injectors. now my problem is that starting at 5500 rpms it the afrs start to climb and get into the high 12s and 13s near 6500 and i dont push it past that. the things i have done to try and fix this is change to the 320cc and it didnt do anything thing. i have changed the fuel filter and no change. next thing is getting a 190lph pump unless there is a better idea.
Does the voodoo piggyback have a fuel chart that lets you add more fuel up top? I'm guessing not as that would be the easy answer... I'd probably look into investing into a better ecu.
There is the XEDE ECU or you could always do a piggy back like a greddy e-manage or AEM F/iC. Boomslang makes a custom PnP harness for the AEM f/ic for 01-05 miata's.
what do you mean by float. and since the lean condition starts at 6000 - 7000 what would be the most likely fix. the only thing i can think of is im losing fuel pressure since going from the 265cc - 320cc didnt change much of anything.
