Im guessing you are taling about that hole that i had no idea what it was for. No, ever since i owned the car there was nothing in that hole. Where can i locate this pin?

the pully does not wobble in any way that i would see that is concerning, seems normal.

i have been torqueing them to 150inlbs and loctight. They were in there tight and not loose. I know this because the parts that were sheared (still part of bolt in the threads) all still had to be broken free when extracting of their loctight and were all in the bottomed out location when looking at the rear of the plate.

Yep that pin is just a straight hole through that plate for me. Im guessing its part of the plate and not a seprate replaceable part?

i have never seen that as replaceable. it has always been part of that plate. It seems it should be if you can find the right size and material pin. if it is gone, you are relying soley on the bolts which should be just holding the pulley on the hub. does it also have the plate pictured below? it goes under the 4 bolts.

Yes i do have that plate. Now that we are on the topic of that plate tho what purpose does it serve? It seems utterly pointless to me.

now onto why, i have a theory. When in full boost and WOT car has a high rpm missfire. It it possible that when the car missfires at high rpm and it luls in power that the momemtum of the accessories and belts put and opposite load on the pully in the opposite direction of roatation then just to be forced back with full torque a fraction a a second later when the missfire event is over? Only thing I can think of and would explain the chewing of the metal but what do you guys think?

I was close!

I torque those bolts to like 25 ft*lbs (you said 150 inch = 12.5 ft*lbs). And I use red loct tite as well.

They were not tight enough, that's why it failed. I run anti-lag which cuts ignition events and is hecktic on the engine (like you describe jolting the engine speed up and down) and those bolts never come loose.

It is also because you dont have the Pin in place. That pin is harder than the bolts are. It is designed to keep the pulley from trying to spin and putting side load on the bolts. The bolts are meant to hold it on but not necesarily to keep it from spinning.
