Log Manifold
Hey guys, I have a question.. Maybe a stupid one.. I currently have a tigged steel log style manifold I purchased for $260, felt right, seems to be good quality and was custom made for a friend's build but he is now in crowd control (mustang) instead of a miata, 1.6, '93... I came across some cast iron ones on fleabay for $150 and considered running one (that's where the question I thought would be stupid, because ebay) but the log mani never have him any issues, just wanting advice, run the log mani? Or buy the ebay cast? Thanks in advance.

That's exactly what I needed to hear, thanks!! I've noticed that the cast ones sell like crazy in the rare time they are available... And the sporadic availability of your manifold is why I went ahead with what I have.

My original intention was to run a 13T Volvo turbo I acquired for free, but then I found this mani which is a T2, and I could adapt it, but I have about $300 worth of ebay gift cards at hand, my IC is coming from ebay, many of y'all have had good luck with em, and I'm gonna order an ebay turbo, maybe 2 (one for a spare) if I can work a deal with someone, just kinda stuck between a T25, or a T28, any reccomendations for my 225-250hp goal?

I am actively looking for a brand name one if the price is right, I had a local guy try to burn me on a GT2550? Last 2 numbers may be wrong, it's been a minute, but anyway, ******* wanted $550 for it, and it had enough shaft play to let the turbine touch the housing, told me "that's normal for those BRUHH" I guess it's time to remove the "I'm stupid" tattoo from my forehead.
