Reviving this for a second, i don't know if this is an adequate enough question to post a new thread, I got burned for $100 on a turbo, but I have a known good 13t Volvo turbo, but the exhaust inlet is a t3 and my mani is a t2, has anyone here used one of the t2 to t3 adapters on fleabay?
Easy enough to have the T2 flange milled off and the T3 flange welded on and then surfaced. Take the manifold + flange to a small machine shop and have them mill the old one off (maybe take the same thickness off as the new flange). If the shop doesn't weld, find a good welder. Have the machine shop resurface the new T3 flange surface.
