Maf
Okay, so I have a 90 with a T-28 Turbo. Now I first put in 326cc injects, but my car wouldn't run. Too big so I put in 265cc tan tops from 94, but my question is how do I adjust the idle being that I am a MAFer. I know you AFMers don't have any prob, but what do we do???? HELP
|
shouldnt have any problems idling 265cc injectors without touching a thing.
shouldn't have any problems idling 326cc injectors without touching a thing, however, it will idle rich. |
shouldn't have much trouble with either size, the latter you may want to adjust the clockspring in the maf, is that info even still out there?

VAF sensors do, however. :D |
Doesn't the OP's '90 have an AFM (with a clockspring) and '94+ have MAF? Or have I had this wrong in my head all these years?

Stock ECU, one AFPR before fuel rail, then a FMU 10/1 and AFPR after rail. 100 psi pump and 94 injectors. I put in 89 326cc injectors from a turbo probe, but I think they were died to start with because it didn't run. The 94 injects make the car run a little ruff, but I'm thinking that one of them isn't sealed to the manifold that good. Broken straw effect.
HEY LOL I"M DUMB YOUR ALL RIGHT!!!! CAN"T BELIEVE I FORGOT IT IS A AFM. So what can I run or how do I adjust it rich and lean. Is it where I pull off that top cap and pull that little arm back and spin the wheel??? Also, how much boost should I run at what PSI to the rail, and after the rail? I know NOOB stuff!!!! LOL |
