Coolant port on intake side of head
i discovered why my friend said he couldn't figure out why the car would always be low on coolant.
The gasket around the oval shaped coolant port (between #3 & #4) was leaking coolant. Now I have no way to block that port other than OEM, but what about the round coolant port between #1 & #2? Has anyone drilled and tapped the head to block that off? Only thing I can see is it feeds the throttle body and I've deleted the other hose ala reroute

I was under the impression that the elongated port on the left just feeds a chamber in that end of the IM for speeding up the warm up process. I forget, but I don't think the left port goes anywhere, just into manifold, (and back out same way it came in). And then the circular port on the right also helps warm up time but by feeding the throttle body, then it exits to the thermostat housing.
Who actually knows?
