Need Input AFR on boost
one simple question for the bandaids Guru
Setup
1990 1.6 stock engine
Greddy turbo kit running 9 PSI intercooled
1.8 tan top injector
MSD Boost timming box
Begi FPR
AEM wideband
Watever I do with the FPR my result a pretty mutch always de same
exemple:
perfect Idle between 14.3-15.5
perfect wile building boost (between 3-4K) 12.5-13.2
Perfect in boost between 4-5k 12.2-12.8
then its start to run richer and richer and richer all to way to the minimum reading of the AEM 10.0 at 6K rpm sp basicaly I have a 1200 rpm power band LOL
what can cause this ? Ive done couples of serch and didnt find nothing revelant

raising rate YES
with 2 vaccum niple , one is on a vaccum line and the other vent in the atmosphere with a check valve like this at page 6

Think about it.
What do your AFRs do in that rev range on a stock car with stock injectors? They go rich.
You now have bigger injectors, with more pressure being given as your boost rises. On TOP of what your stock fuel map already does.
So what are we trying to figure out again?

thing is watever the boost I put on the car 5Psi to 10 psi , the same thing appen over 5K ...
Idle is good cruising is perfect But over 5K watever the presure i put on the regulator or on the needle valve ajustment same thing happen

what do happen at exactly 5000 rpm that put that much fuel , thats the only question

Think about it, with your setup, you're already running more fuel than stock. The more boost you run, the more fuel you get.
Bread goes in, toast comes out. You can't explain that!
I feel like i'm getting AIDS just from staying in this thread this long, and i'm even the one crowned as "The Prince of Band-Aids" on this forum.
The only difference is that my AFRs don't suck dick.

I don't know. Put the car back to 100% stock, use the wideband, tell me what happens.
Think about it, with your setup, you're already running more fuel than stock. The more boost you run, the more fuel you get.
