Default Need some quick MTX-L/O2 Sensor advice

On the trip home from the track a couple of weeks ago, the AFR went to 22.4 over the course of a second or two. The engine continued to run fine. I assumed the Bosch O2 sensor **** the bed. The car ran fine all the rest of the way home. I replaced the O2 sensor today and took her out. I got about a mile from the house and the AFRs started acting strange. When OFC activated, the AFR would go to 22.4, but it came back down very slowly, like it was stuck in the 17s. Idle AFR was reading in the high 16s, but the car continued to run fine. Dead controller??? It's probably six-seven years old.

Thanks,
