iridium doesn't conduct as well as copper but is stronger...I'd rather have the best conductor and/or highest heat latency

but copper is big and doesn't have the current density of a teenie tiny iridium electrode. fwiw here are the (electrical) conductivities of copper, platinum, and iridium:

copper: 59.6 × 10^6 S m-1
platinum: 9.4 x 10^6 S m-1
iridium: 21.3 x 10^6 S m-1

Don't iridium plugs run a lot hotter as well?

but do they shed the temps are fast? becuase that's where auto-ignition comes into play. the heat ranges just say how much heat they will/can remove.
