These came out of the original engine in my na8. When I bought the car it was smoking like a ****. Also had destroyed Conrod bearings after I drove it to the shop to start pulling the engine. So question are these pistons till good with that oil ring all stuck inside it like that? Maybe a good cleaning?
Can’t tell without a good cleaning. If there’s no damage to them and your block does not need to be bored, you can run them.
I'm getting the old block overbored to 84mm. Will be using forged rods and pistons for a future F/I build. Just wanting to know if they are trash or if someone could use them with the rods as well.
