Rear Seal Installation
[cross post from m.net--needing answer soooon]
So I got around to replacing my rear main seal tonight and got it in flush thankfully. But I noticed that the outer lip of the seal is not in contact with the crank-- there is a tiny gap between the seal and the crank surface all the way around. Is it supposed to be like that or should it be touching? Gonna leave my transmission off for the time being..
I took pics of it...
