WTF? We went drag racing in a friends DSM with literally 90 psi across the board. Ran 21ish PSI from a 16G on a 2L on E85. No ill effects.

No, it just does not matter a whole hell of a lot. FWIW, that engine was worn evenly, very consistent on all cylinders. But the rings were just plain worn out. We already had ghetto provisions for blow by (this is a Chrysler product after all) and just did it, knowing the engine was not exactly expected to run forever anyway. It did fine. I wouldn't try it for a HPDE or something, but if we are talking about a 10-15 second run through the gears then a cool down, its fine.
