Rev limiter in mx5 turbo 1.8L 99'
Hello!I would like to ask you if you think that is safe to put the rev limiter to 7600 rpms with stock internals and oil pump(I have e-manage ultimate)? Will i have any problems?I have heard that there might be an oil pressure problem!I think that japan spec mx5 1.8L the rev limiter is at 7500 rpm!
(Is there any aftermarket oil pump or a oil pump upgrade kit for mx5)?

it is safe but realiztically you wont see much improvement. There are bilet oil pump gears sold by boundary engineering and Miataraodster. It isnt a oil pressure issue more like a pump failure at high horsepower high rpm. 300+hp for most people your rods will likely show signs of stress before the oil pump gears do.

No point when power/torque is falling off so rapidly at that high RPM. Have you seen the stock engine's dyno chart?
If you make no changes to your engine's internals, raising the rev limit is "unnecessary roughness" and you will be penalized.
