What gap do you guys like to see for boosted bp's? Ring set says min clearance .004in.

 

For which ring? What pistons?

BP engine, 84mm JE pistons, all rings..

 

Sorry, 99 stock pistons, stock spec rings, light hone on cylinders. Spec was .004"in per inch of bore. They are installed already now, I ended up inbetween .016-.018"in on all four. Should work well for a street build. Hopefully:-)

 

For aftermarket pistons, follow the instructions. For stock pistons, follow the FSM.
