What size? ACL STD bearings are on backorder for an indefinite amount of time. I have an STDX set for sale.

I am guessing it is because race season everyone here is out of king xp std size too? Does anyone else make a tri-metal bearing for the miata?

update: I found the bearings I was looking for, although I wanted to get them from one of the vendors on MT. My mistake when I could not find them here, was to order a set of the King xp series from Fab 9.When they came in, mains were xp's, rod bearings were their am series,ie stock aluminum silicon. It is not a deal breaker to use stock bearings, but I want to get what I paid for. Now I need to get my money back from fab9. It is just not worth the time or money to order from them in the first place!(rant)

right, but he also said that he found them at a non MT vendor. Fab 9 was a vendor, I guess they aren't now? Saying he found them elsewhere led me to believe he had found them elsewhere.

Probably shouldn't tell people to read posts that you haven't even read.

Fab9 sent him the wrong bearings. When I hunted for bearings it took a while to find some. Everywhere seems to be out of stock.

Did anyone ever determine if the clevite 66's were any good? I think in the last great rod bearing shortage people could buy those but no one ever reported back.

Bought these off of Amazon, both of the sellers were distributors on Kings Bearing pages. One is Engine Parts Center, the other is Real Street. Both had good prices.

When I called Fab9 and asked for my money back,he did not say a word and gave me a return authorization. We will see if he goes through with it.
