Default Small crack in OEM harmonic balancer

Gents,

I found one small crack in the elastomer on the back side of my harmonic balancer. One, small crack probably not worth a picture. Does that damper need replacing?

Thanks,

Only if the timing marks have moved, indicating a total separation of the outer from the inner.

In the event you decide to replace it; I have had success with Dayco PB1347N balancer that I purchased from Rock Auto.

Sir,

Thanks much. I believe I'm going to try the Fluidampr.
